Phlebotomy
Most blood tests requested by your clinician will be taken by our resident Phlebotomist Phil or Alex.
Adult’s blood can be taken here at the surgery by Appointment only. Haslemere Hospital also runs a daily blood clinic for Adults and children over 10. To book an appointment at Haslemere patients should go to https://www.royalsurrey.nhs.uk/blood-tests
Children under 10 bloods can be taken by their GP or via the Royal Surrey County Hospital based in Guildford.
Other tests
Your GP can perform Urine, Stool and swab tests and some bloods; they can also arrange referrals for X-Rays, Ultrasounds and Physiotherapy.
Test results
Results of tests can generally be obtained after one week. Please ring the Surgery AFTER 11.00am to request your results unless otherwise instructed by your clinician.
To ensure confidentiality, we only release results to the patient, unless alternative arrangements have been agreed in writing.
